Only a few weeks after seeing his yearlings light up the ring at Keeneland, BLAME recorded another sales ring highlight in France when his Group 3 winner Saiydabad was the second highest priced horse at the Arqana Arc Sale on Saturday.
The winner of four of his seven starts, the colt offered by breeder Aga Khan Stables was purchased for €575,000 by Narvick International.
Saiydabad is out of the Group 3 winner Sarkiyla, who was placed in multiple Group 1s as a racemare. The colt’s granddam Sarlisa is a half-sister to the dam of Group 2 winner and Group 1-placed Gold Trip and stakes-placed Got Wind.
Saiydabad is just the latest stakes winner for his family. His stakes winning and Group 1 runner-up fourth dam Safita herself produced two stakes performers and four stakes producing daughters.
It was reported by Thoroughbred Daily News that Saiydabad is set to continue his career in Saudi Arabia.
