FIRST SAMURAI YEARLING IS SECOND HIGHEST PRICED FILLY AT FT MIDLANTIC SALE

Hip 54, a filly by FIRST SAMURAI, went for $120,000 on day one of the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Eastern Fall Yearlings Sale. Consigned by Charlton, agent , for breeder Audley Farm Equine, the April 30th foal out of the Yes It’s True mare, Midtown Miss, was purchased by Cary Frommer, agent. “She’s a gorgeous filly, very balanced and very racey looking,” said Dr. Jens von Lepel, Equine Consultant for the breeder. The filly was the second highest priced filly of the two-day yearling sale.
