Making only his second start after a Maiden Special Weight win on the all-weather at Woodbine November 9, AMI’S FLATTER defeated stakes winners and a TDN Rising Star in his runner-up finish in the $100,000 Mucho Macho Man S. Going a mile on the main track in a field of nine at Gulfstream Park, the 3-year-old colt by FLATTER sat just off the pace after breaking from post two but was never more than a couple lengths back of the lead. AMI’S FLATTER put in a strong drive through the stretch to finish less than two lengths back at the wire, but was nearly nine lengths in front of the third place finisher.
