Thirteen Weanlings Kick off Keeneland November for PRINCE OF MONACO

It’s a strong first crop heading to Keeneland November for Grade 1 winner PRINCE OF MONACO with 13 offered in the first two books.

Among those weanlings are three out of Grade 1 winners or placers, two others out of graded stakes winners, and multiple half-siblings to stakes horses.

The first foal out of the Into Mischief mare Chanteuse sells with Paramount Sales as Hip 31 in Book 1.

Bred by Aaron Sones, the March-born filly’s granddam Dazzling Song produced five winners, led by the Grade 1 winning Magnum Moon. Dazzling Song is out of the Grade 3 winner Win McCool, who produced the Grade 2-placed Cool Beans and the dam of Grade 3 winner Clearly Unhinged.

Win McCool is one of four stakes winners out of Grade 3 winner Win Crafty Lady, who also produced Grade 2 winner and Grade 1-placed Graeme Hall and Grade 1 winner Harmony Lodge. She’s also the granddam of Grade 2 winner Sparkly Ville and Grade 3 winners First Passage and Stratford Hil.

The second PRINCE OF MONACO offering is Hip 432 from Trackside Farm.

Kicking off the stallion’s Book 2 runners, he is a grandson of the Grade 1 winning Icon Project, who produced the Grade 2 winner Fashion Business. Bred by Sun Valley Farm, his dam Graceful Fancy has produced two winners from two to race with both of those runners winning in 2026. Her yearling also sold for $1.25 million this year

This colt’s third dam is the Grade 1 winner La Gueriere, who also produced Grade 2 winner Lasting Approval and two other stakes performers. One of her daughters is also the dam of Grade 2 winner and successful sire Munnings and the stakes winning Munnings Sister.

A Stoneriggs Farm-bred half-brother to Grade 3 winner Like The King sells as Hip 493 with his breeder.

Born on February 28, the colt’s stakes placed dam Like a Queen is also the dam of four-time winner Kiss Principal and a Taiba yearling who sold for $200,000 in July. Like a Queen is a half-sister to the dam of multiple stakes winner Ournationonparade and the stakes winning Stickwiththecolors. This is also the family of Grade 2 winner Avie’s Fancy and his own multiple stakes winning third dam Twin Bet.

The Gainesway-offered Hip 758 comes into the ring with an update after her half-brother Quarry won the Super Derby.

Bred by Kinya Murakami Farm, the filly’s dam Black Dynamite also saw Quarry win this year’s Canadian Derby (G3) as one of three winners from her four foals to race. Black Dynamite is also the dam of a BLAME 2-year-old named Blame Thrower.

Blame Dynamite is one of nine winners out of her own dam Heatherdoesntbluff, who produced Grade 1 winner Killer Graces and Grade 2 winner Chocolate Ride. Killer Graces is Grade 1 producer as well as the dam of Japanese Grade 1 winner Killer Ability with her daughter producing a Grade 2 winner as well. This family also includes Grade 1 winner There Goes Harvard and Turkish champion Hakeem among many others.

Keeneland November’s Book 1 starts at 1pm on November 3 with the two-session Book 2 starting at 10am on November 4 and 5.
