LUCY’S BOB BOY Wins 11th Stakes Pushing Earnings to Nearly $970,000

The ultra consistent LUCY’S BOB BOY notched his 25th career win and 11th stakes victory after taking the Frank Gall Memorial S. by 5 1/4 lengths. This is the third consecutive year the son of FLATTER has won this seven-furlong stakes at Charles Town, a race considered a prep for the rich West Virginia Breeders’ Classic. LUCY’S BOB BOY was an eight-length winner as a 3-year-old, defeating older horses, of the 2012 running of the $500,000 West Virginia Breeders’ Classic S. Bred by Robert W. Furr Sr. out of the Not For Love mare, Love for Lucy, LUCY’S BOB BOY races for Michael Furr and is trained by Sandra Dono. He now has career earnings of $969,875 and is the third leading earner of FLATTER behind Flat Out and Upstart.
