3YO BATTLEOFBURLINGTON Wins MSW Debut at Woodbine

Making his career debut going five furlongs on the all-weather surface at Woodbine, BATTLEOFBURLINGTON held off a challenger late to win this Maiden Special Weight by a neck. The 3-year-old colt by BLAME made a strong move going five wide on the turn, took the lead at the top of the stretch and stayed in front to the wire. The $200,000 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sales grad was bred by Christine Hayden out of the A.P. Indy mare Tell Seattle and races for John Oxley under the care of trainer Mark Casse.
