It was a second straight victory for FLATTER’s Flatter Her Again with the 3-year-old filly secured her first career stakes victory in the Southern Park Stakes at Mahoning Valley by 5 ½ lengths.
The six furlong dirt race saw Flatter Her Again race in midpack over five lengths off the pacesetter, making a ground-saving trip under Sonny Leon. When it came time to run in the stretch, Flatter Her Again was ready and showed a big turn of foot to blast by the field and continue drawing away.
The filly is a homebred for Bruce Ryan, who has her in the care of Jeffrey Radosevich, where she has won three of 10 starts with five other top three finishes for $105,946 in earnings.
The filly is the 59th stakes winner for FLATTER and takes him to 123 stakes performers with five of those winning at the highest level and 21 at the graded stakes level.
Flatter Her Again is the second stakes winner for her dam Kiosk by FLATTER with that pair also matching up to produce nine-time stakes winner Needmore Flattery. Stakes-placed Kiosk is also the dam of two other stakes performers from her eight to race.
FLATTER is already putting together another solid year with four stakes performers to his name led by the evergreen runner Plainsman, who won the Razorback Handicap (G3) in February.
