$425,000 BLAME COLT AT OBS MARCH SELECT

A colt from the first crop of BLAME brought a final bid of $425,000 at the combined one day Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2014 March Sale of Selected 2-Year-Olds in Training. Hip 229, a March 21st foal out of the Storm Cat mare, La Suena, was consigned by Eisaman Equine, agent, and purchased by Whitehorse Stables.

Also at OBS, a filly out of the Dixieland Band mare, I’m From Dixie, hip 199, was purchased for $300,000 by Bridlewood Farm / Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners, and a colt out of the Deputy Commander mare, My Main Starr, hip 292, went to Trilogy & Laurie Plesa for $240,000. For the sale and thus far for the year, his three offered and three sold averaged $321,666. BLAMEleads ALL freshman 2-year-old sales sires this year by average and by median ($300,000).
