3YO WAR DISPATCH Takes Chantilly’s G3 Prix de Guiche

Making his first try on turf, WAR DISPATCH ran his record to six wins in seven starts taking the Prix de Guiche-G3 by 1 3/4 lengths. The 3-year-old colt by WAR FRONT sat in fourth early, but took over the lead with a furlong to go and pressed on to the wire in this 1 1/8-mile turf event at Chantilly. WAR DISPATCH, the 21st GSW for his sire, was last seen in February winning the Prix Policeman S. at Cagnes Sur Mer by two lengths. In his runner-up debut last August at Deauville, the Joseph Allen homebred finished only 1/2 length behind an eventual G1 SW. Trained by Jean-Claude Rouget, WAR DISPATCH is out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Photograph, who is a half-sister to WAR FRONT’s G2 UAE Derby winner LINES OF BATTLE.
