After finishing runner-up in his first two starts in Maiden Special Weight company, SCOTLANDstepped up to face winners and stakes horses and placed in the Jerome S.-G2 at Aqueduct. Racing one mile and 70 yards, this 3-year-old son of HORSE GREELEY was forced into another just after the break. Eager to run early, he finally settled, made a move in upper stretch to grab third. SCOTLAND was a $310,000 2-year-old colt at last year’s OBS April Spring Sale. The third highest priced colt of the session, he worked a sparkling :33 1/5 for three furlongs, the second fastest time at the distance of the session.
