3YO NEEDMORE FLATTERY Wins Fourth Stakes of the Year

NEEDMORE FLATTERY won the eighth stakes of her career when she drew off by 2 1/4 lengths to win the 1 1/8-mile Norm Barron Queen City Oaks at Belterra. The 3-year-old filly byFLATTER raced about a length behind the leaders until they hit the top of the lane where she rallied to take command in mid-stretch and pulled away late as the prohibitive favorite. As a 2-year-old last year, NEEDMORE FLATTERY won four consecutive stakes. Thus far in 2014, the Timothy Hamm trainee has won or placed in six of seven starts and now has lifetime earnings of $308,900 as a Bruce Ryan & Blazing Meadows Farm homebred.
