On the first day of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale, Naples Bay in foal to WAR FRONT topped Monday’s session selling for $3.6 million. Hip 156, the multiple GSW daughter of Giant’s Causeway was consigned by Claiborne on behalf of Edward Cox. The 6-year-old mare who is a half-sister to Medaglia D’oro was purchased by Coolmore’s M.V. Magnier. Also in the first session, Fast Full Measure in foal to WAR FRONT went for $1.5 million. The 6-year-old G1 SW by Empire Maker out of Lazy Slusan, by Slewvescent, was consigned by Lane’s End, agent, and purchased by China Horse Club.
