Making only his second career start after placing in a Maiden Special Weight debut here in early September, HOLLYWOOD CRITIC played a prominent role throughout placing in Woodbine’s 1 1/16-mile Grey S.-G3. The 2-year-old colt from the first crop of Champion BLAME stalked the pace early never more than three lengths off the lead. He swung three wide late in the final turn, then rallied, challenging for the lead in deep stretch and continued to battle to the wire, finishing just a little over a length off the win. HOLLYWOOD CRITIC finished behind a previous Woodbine G2 SW and a Saratoga G2-placed horse. He is a Bruce Lunsford homebred trained by Barbara Minshall.
