WAR OF WILL’s Reflected Glory Romps On Debut

It was a Turkish winner for WAR OF WILL on Tuesday when Reflected Glory won at Kocaeli by six lengths.

Making his debut going six furlongs, Reflected Glory was hustled from the gate and raced keenly in third a few lengths behind the leader. As they entered the stretch, Reflected Glory asked him for more and he was happy to comply.

The colt flew away from the field while eased down to start his career on a perfect note.

Trained by B. Ay for Nimet Arif Kurtel, the colt is a half-brother to Grade III winner Clear Vision and two other winners out of Refreshing. A placed Invincible Spirit daughter, Refreshing is a half-sister to the group placed duo of Drill Sergeant and Nobills.

Those under Refreshing’s granddam includes champions Sholokhov, Soldier of Fortune, Subjectivist and Skitter Scatter and Group 1 winners Marhaba Ya Sanafi, Intense Focus, and Aspen Grove.

This is the ninth worldwide winner for WAR OF WILL, whose runners include three stakes placers and three other stakes fourth place finishers with one of those stakes placers also finishing fourth in Sunday’s Miss Grillo (G2).
