WAR FRONT’S PONTCHATRAIN WINS BUENA VISTA-G2

PONTCHATRAIN won her fourth consecutive stakes, third graded stakes in a row, with a one-length win in Santa Anita’s Buena Vista S.-G2. The 4-year-old filly by WAR FRONT under Gary Stevens sat in a stalking position early on only 1 1/2 lengths off the leaders. She made a quick advance to take the lead with a three-wide move into the stretch and steadily inched away for the final margin. She ran a mile on the turf in a very quick 1:33 1/3. PONTCHATRAIN races for Glen Hill Farm and is trained by Tom Proctor. Bred in Kentucky by Lavin Bloodstock & Kenowa Stable, she now has six wins in eight starts, and career earnings of $444,882. Her other stakes wins include the Monrovia S.-G2, Senator Ken Maddy S.-G3 and the Unzip Me S.
