WAR FRONT’s DUE DILIGENCE Wins Naas’ Lacken S.

DUE DILIGENCE became WAR FRONT’s 30th stakes winner with a convincing 3 3/4-length win in the six-furlong Lacken S. on the turf at Naas. Sent to the lead at the break under Joseph O’Brien, the Aidan O’Brien trainee eventually pulled away in the final furlong to win comfortably. One race back he won at the same distance and course by 1 1/2 lengths on a turf course rated yielding to soft. In his first start of 2014, DUE DILIGENCE placed in Dundalk’s Patton S. on the all-weather surface. In his 2-year-old debut last year, he was designated a “TDN Rising Star” after a dazzling 7 1/2-length Maiden Special Weight win going 5 1/2 furlongs on the Saratoga turf. Bred by Claiborne Farm and Adele B. Dilschneider out of the stakes-winning PULPIT mare, Bema, DUE DILIGENCE was a $190,000 purchase out of the Keeneland September yearling sale. He currently races for the partnership of Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith and Mrs. John Magnier.
