ESCORT, a 3-year-old colt by FIRST SAMURAI, won his second in a row in a Gulfstream Allowance March 20. ESCORT settled just behind the pace at the beginning of the six furlong race. The 3-year-old then went wide going for the turn and accelerated in the stretch to win by a half length. ESCORT had previously won a Gulfstream Maiden Special Weight February 19 in which he earned an impressive 97 Beyer.
