TRAPPE SHOT’s 2YO TRAPPE PLAY Wins MSW Debut at Belmont

Making her career debut at Belmont, TRAPPE PLAY contested the lead from the break and won the battle in the end pulling away through the stretch for a 2 3/4-length win in this 6 1/2-furlong Maiden Special Weight. The 2-year-old filly from the first crop of Graded stakes winner TRAPPE SHOT broke well from post ten in a 12-horse field to quickly join the fight on the front end. The NYKY Thoroughbred Stable homebred is trained by Kiaran McLaughlin and is the fifth winner for her sire.
