TRAPPE SHOT Yearlings Bring $400,000 & $300,000 at Saratoga

First crop yearlings by TRAPPE SHOT were well received at the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Selected Yearling Sale with four offered and four sold. In the first session, a colt went for $400,000 to Matthew Schera. Hip 47, an April 6th foal out of the ARCH mare, Mayhavebeentheone, was consigned by Nursery Place. In the second and final session of the sale, another colt sold for $300,000. Hip 145, a March 21st foal out of the Broad Bush mare, Broad Sound, was the property of Glencrest Farm, Four Star Sales, agent, and purchased by Alex & Jo Ann Lieblong. TRAPPE SHOT was also represented in the sale by a $170,000 colt, hip 37, purchased by Gary S. Broad, and a $120,000 colt, hip 92, that was purchased by Steven W. Young, agent.
