SWIFT WARRIOR FIFTH WINNER FOR FIRST SAMURAI

SWIFT WARRIOR relished the stretch out to a mile and the son of FIRST SAMURAI responded with a nine length romp in the 8th race at Calder Race Course. He is the FIFTH winner for his Freshman Sire.

SWIFT WARRIOR saved ground early and tracked the leaders from the second flight. He moved to the outside going into the final turn and he came away with a clear lead at the top of the stretch. He galloped strongly to the wire to win in impressive fashion.

Bred in Kentucky by Paget Bloodstock, Nearctic Bloodstock and Carhue Investments, SWIFT WARRIOR was produced by the Afleet mare, Afleet Summer. He campaigns for his owner/trainer Steve Dwoskin.
