The 4-year-old filly byFLATTER disputed the pace from the break with her head in front most of the way and just got passed near the wire to finish 3/4 length from the win. FLATTERING BEA, who has finished first or second in eight of her last ten starts, was coming off a win in the $200,000 Sugar Maple S. presented by CANTER Mid-Atlantic S. She now has earnings of over $317,000.
