The first through the ring offered by Davis Breaking and Training is Hip 18, a colt named Executor. Bred by Mesingw Farm, the colt is a half-brother to two winners from three to race out of the stakes winning Financial Recovery.

That mare is out of successful Saint Ballado mare Flawless Diamond, who has produced two stakes winners and three other stakes performers from her 10 runners. That mare’s stakes winner Blue Heart is also the dam of Grade 3-placed Joyful Heart and granddam of Grade 2 winner Valiant Force.

Her daughters have also produced Grade 3 winner C. Zee and four other stakes performers with C. Zee’s dam Diamondaire producing three stakes performers overall.

Hip 111 offered by Randy Miles is out of the stakes winning Hi Holiday and bred by Frederick and May Construction.

Hi Holiday is one of three stakes winners out of Grade 2-placed Boleyn alongside multiple Grade 3 winner Dr. B and stakes winner Stand Up Comic. A granddaughter of Grade 1 winner Magnificent Lindy, Boleyn isn’t just a multiple stakes producer but also one of four stakes performers out of Magnificent Baby.

That mare’s runners are led by stakes winner Magnificent Val with her four stakes performers winning a combined 21 races.

Willful Mama sells as Hip 146 through G. Martinez Training during the first day of the sale.

Bred by William Butler, the New York-bred is a half-sister to three stakes performers and four winners from four to race out of In Spite of Mama. That mare’s runners include RUNHAPPY’s four-time stakes winner Rotknee, and three-time stakes winner My Mane Squeeze, who added the Maddie May Stakes to her resume on February 8.

In Spite of Mama is an eighth-generation stakes performer as a half-sister to multiple stakes winner A Freud of Mama out of a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Haynesfield. There are eight stakes performers under the three dams on her page with a further three stakes winners under the juvenile’s fourth dam.

WAR OF WILL’s Hip 549 offered by Top Line Sales is out of the winning Street Sense mare Rue de l’ange.

Purchased for $140,000 as a weanling, the Michael Dowd-bred colt is the second out of his dam. Out of Grade 3 winner Georgie’s Angel, Rue de l’ange is a half-sister to dual Grade 1 winner and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) runner-up Cave Rock. Each of Rue de l’ange’s first five dams have produced at least two stakes performers with all but her fifth dam producing at least two stakes winners.

White Lilac is the consignor of Hip 763, a son of Benchmark’s four-time winner Tenacious Tina.

Bred by Forty Oaks, the juvenile is a half-brother to Grade 3 placed Tiny Tina and Flatter Up and stakes placed Numero Seis from their dam’s four winners. Flatter Up is now a broodmare and has three runners with her two winners including recent Gulfstream Park winner Donegal Forever. Tenacious Tina is a daughter of My Tina, whose 10 winners include Grade 1 winner Midnight Storm with three stakes performers also produced by the colt’s third dam Ask Directions.

All but one of this colt’s first six dams have produced at least one stakes performer with three of them producing more than one stakes performer.

Multiple stakes winner Treasured Up is the dam of the Blazing Meadows Farm-consigned Hip 806 bred by Ashview Farm.

The mare is the dam of two winners from four to race with one of her non-winners a multiple placed runner who was most recently third at Keeneland on April 5. Treasured Up is one of two stakes winners out of Melisma, who also produced dual Grade 2 winner Choctaw Nation and the stakes placed Mined Over Matter. Two of Melisma’s two other runners have produced Grade 1 winner El Deal and the stakes-placed duo of Coach Doug and Legacy Wildcat.

With multiple stakes winners produced by the filly’s Grade 1-placed third dam and those under her name, there are six stakes winners and four other stakes performers on the page.

The second-to-last WAR OF WILL through the ring is Hip 1089 consigned by Really and Truly Thoroughbreds.

Bred by Highlight Thoroughbred and Haugh Stables, the filly is out of Brazilian champion Colina Verde. That mare is already a Grade 1 producer as the dam of Grade 1 winner Greenzapper and the dam of multiple graded stakes placed Limonite. Colina Verde has also proven to be a strong producer of producers with two of her daughters producing stakes performers.

Colina Verde is one of two stakes performers out of the stakes winning Verdadeira alongside Grade 1-placed Fleur Delacour. She is also a third generation Grade 1 producer with her granddam producing Group 1 winner Sebaru Purple with Colina Verde’s fourth dam also producing a Group 1 winner in Emerald Hill.

The four sale sessions start at 10:30am daily from April 16 – 19 with WAR OF WILL’s last being Hip 1112.
