Search Results Impressive Debut Winner For FLATTER

FLATTER’s Search Results impressed on debut Sunday at Gulfstream Park’s Championship Meet for Klaravich Stables and Chad Brown when romping home by four lengths as the race favorite. Impressing in workouts at Payson Park in the weeks before her debut, the Machmer Hall-bred proved to be speedy enough to leave the field behind in the closing stages.

Racing over six furlongs on the dirt, Search Results broke slowly under Irad Ortiz Jr. but quickly sped up the rail to race just a few lengths behind the leader. Ortiz looked confident when asking his filly to move to the outside of the field as they turned into the stretch and the race was over from that point.

Under an easy ride, Search Results romped away to win by four lengths and give the impression there was plenty left to give if asked.

A $310,000 Keeneland September purchase by Mike Ryan from Select Sales, she is the second winner from two to race out of the Grade 3-placed Co Cola. A half-sister to Grade 1-placed Kingdom Road, Co Cola also has an unnamed 2-year-old colt by Flatter.

Search Results also comes from the family of Canadian champion Kimchi and multiple Grade 1 winner Mind Your Biscuits.

The sire of 14% stakes horses, including champions West Coast and Avie’s Flatter, Flatter stands this season for $35,000.
