RUNHAPPY’s Bonus Fever a Runaway Winner

Bonus Fever, a two-year-old daughter of RUNHAPPY broke her maiden impressively on September 23rd at Mountaineer, winning by more than eight lengths in MSW company.

Going five furlongs on the dirt with Isaias Ayala in the irons, Bonus Fever had no competition as she reached the top of the stretch. The RUNHAPPY filly crossed the wire in a final time of 1:01.50 for trainer/co-owner James. K Chapman.

This win follows a game second place finish at Belterra Park on September 10th, where Bonus Fever finished just one-half length behind victress On Brilliant.

Bred in Kentucky by Calumet Farm, Bonus Fever is the first foal out of Vatayana (Pioneerof the Nile), from the family of Fifth Overture, Silent Bird, and Grade 1-placed Gold From the West. The filly was purchased by James K. Campman and Stuart Tsujimoto at the 2019 Keeneland September sale from the Vinery Sales consignment.
