MOSLER Pulls Away to Win Belmont’s Elusive Quality S.

MOSLER won for the fourth time in nine starts taking the seven-furlong Elusive Quality S. by two lengths. Making only his second start on turf, the 4-year-old colt by WAR FRONT sat in third along the rail just behind the front two for the first half mile. MOSLER moved out to split horses in mid-stretch and then drew clear to get the win in a quick time of 1:20 3/5. The Cherry Valley Farm-bred, Claiborne-raised colt is out of the ARCH mare Gold Vault. A three-time winner on dirt, MOSLER won a Maiden Special Weight at Belmont in his second try as a juvenile and also won one mile allowance races at Belmont and Aqueduct. The Bill Mott trainee for Adele Dilschneider became his sire’s 36th career stakes winner.
