HORSE GREELEY’S CLEARLY NOW WINS SWALE-G3

HORSE GREELEY got his second graded stakes winner in his first crop when CLEARLY NOWrallied to take the seven-furlong Swale S.-G3 at Gulfstream Park. After bobbling a bit at the break, the 3-year-old colt settled in striking distance behind a solid pace. Swinging out four wide on the turn, CLEARLY NOW took the lead down the stretch and edged away to win this Kentucky Derby prep by 1 3/4 lengths. In his first start of the season and first try on dirt,CLEARLY NOW placed in the Grade 3 Holy Bull behind Itsmyluckyday and Shanghai Bobby. Last year, he won his first two starts, then placed in the Display S., his final race of the year, all at Woodbine.

Out of the multiple stakes-placed Arch mare, Bend, CLEARLY NOW was bred by Claiborne Farm.  He races for Up Hill Stable and is trained by Brian Lynch.
