CLEARLY NOW has now won or placed in twelve stakes after a narrow loss in the six-furlong Diablo S. at Belmont. The three-time Graded stakes winner by HORSE GREELEY was making only his second start of the year in the Diablo. CLEARLY NOW began his rally on the turn, drew nearly even with the frontrunner by the top of the lane, took a short lead in mid-stretch and was caught in the final few strides of the wire beaten a neck. Graded wins include last year’s seven-furlong Belmont Sprint Championship S.-G3 in which he set a track record, as well as the Bold Ruler H.-G3 and Swale S.-G3. He has earnings of $912,094 and has won or placed in 14 of 18 career starts.
