FIRST SAMURAI HAS 2 NEW WINNERS IN 2 DAYS

ONE FAST FROG became FIRST SAMURAI’s newest winner on Friday. In a Santa Anita maiden, ONE FAST FROG immediately sped to the lead, set the pace down the backstretch, and was a head in front at the wire. This was fourth career start for the 4YO filly, all on the west coast.

ONE FAST FROG is owned by Tarabillia Farms, bred by Robert Raphaelson and New Dawn stud, she is trained by Martin Pedroza.

Another of FIRST SAMURAI’s daughters, the 3YO DO IT WITH HONOR, broker her maiden at Laurel Park on Saturday. DO IT WITH HONOR, stalked the pace, closed inside horses and drew off to win by 4 1/2 lengths. The victory was her first in 6 starts, all on the east coast.

DO IT WITH HONOR was bred by Betz Thoroughbreds and, is owned by Sheldon Russell and trained by Gary Contessa.
