Two mares carrying foals from Grade 1 winner ANNAPOLIS’s first crop are set to go through the ring at this week’s Keeneland January Horses of All Ages in the second and third sessions.
Selling as Hip 789 is Princess Erindelle, a 12-year-old stakes winner by Divine Park offered by Hermitage Farm.
Finishing on the board 10 times in 24 starts, Princess Erindelle is one of two stakes winners and three stakes performers overall out of Window Woman. Among the eight winners out of that mare is Princess Erindelle’s stakes placed and 20-time winning full brother Divine Ambition. On the page is also stakes winner Man O Rose and Grade 2 placed Kathleen Rose among others.
Princess Erindelle’s first foal is a 4-year-old who has placed multiple times with her next three foals including a 2-year-old RUNHAPPY colt named Run Aaron Run.
Selling as Hip 1165 carrying her second foal by ANNAPOLIS is Moves Like Magic, consigned by Glendalough at Dromoland.
The dual stakes winner is a full sister to stakes winner Run Carson and half-sister to the stakes placed Hitthefloorunning. Run Carson added an update when he finished second in the Holiday Cheer Stakes on December 14 to take himself to a stakes win and two stakes placings in three starts at the level. Their dam Schefflera is one of three stakes producers from four mares on the page with Moves Like Magic’s third dam the multiple stakes winner and Grade 1 placed Daring Doone.
Moves Like Magic’s first foal added an update to the page after it was printed with a close third place finish in a Maiden Special Weight on November 5. The foal she’s carrying is her second.
The Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale kicks off on Monday at 10am with ANNAPOLIS’s in-foal mares selling on Tuesday and Wednesday.
