Third time was the charm for DEMARCHELIER’s (GB) Photo Finish, who won a Charles Town Maiden Special Weight.
Running on dirt in all three of her starts, Photo Finish went off as the heavy favorite and was second early in the 6 ½ furlong dirt race. It didn’t take long for Photo Finish to take over the lead and she quickly pulled away from the field.
It was easy going from there with Photo Finish having over five lengths on the field coming into the stretch. Jockey Antonio Lopez didn’t ask his mount for anything more and she raced to a five length victory with the third placed runner 9 ¾ lengths behind.
Bred by Wasabi Ventures Stables, Michael Dzik, and Greenspring Mares, Wasabi races her with Vandelay Stables, and Tomahawk Racing with Jesus Cruz conditioning her.
The filly hails from the family of champions Daylami, Dalkala, Dolniya, and Dalakhani.
