Brave Anna, the talented daughter of Claiborne stallion War Front, took the G3 Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot in impressive fashion on June 17.
A rough start positioned the 2-year-old filly at the back of the field, but by the time they reached the quarter pole, Brave Anna rallied, making a determined move and drove home for the victory.
Brave Anna became the 43rd stakes winner and 4th winner in the last 4 years at Royal Ascot for her prolific sire, War Front. Trained by Aidan O’Brien for owner/breeder Mrs E. M. Stockwell, Brave Anna is a full sister to Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) hero Hit It A Bomb.
