A colt by freshman sire Algorithms out of Javelina breezed in :21 flat at the OBS June under tack show June 7. Consigned by Price Thoroughbreds, he will be offered for sale next Wednesday, June 15th as Hip 435.
The time of :21 flat was the co-fastest time of the day at the distance.
Algorithms is off to a promising start at stud. The undefeated Graded Stakes-winning son of Bernardini recently notched his first U.S. winner, RECRUITING READY, who earned TDN Rising Star status after breaking his maiden by over 10 lengths at Belmont.
Earlier this year, Algorithms’s first-crop juveniles sold well above his $5,000 stud fee. At the Fasig-Tipton Florida Sale, two-year-olds by Algorithms sold up to $180,000 to prominent owners such as Live Oak Plantation.
Undefeated and impeccably bred, Algorithms is full or half brother to 4 Graded Stakes winners, including Justin Phillip (G1), Greenpointcrusader (G1), Keyed Entry (G2) and Successful Mission (G3).
