Stacked Deck, the son of Claiborne stallion First Samurai, was named Canada’s champion male sprinter at the recent Sovereign Awards ceremony.
In 2015, Stacked Deck captured the Bold Venture Stakes (G3) and Kennedy Road Stakes (G2), both just ticks off the track records. In addition to his success in Canada, Stacked Deck hit the board at Keeneland, placing in the G3 Woodford Stakes.
The 7-time winner has bankrolled over $400,000 for owner/breeder Bruce Lunsford.
Stacked Deck was also a finalist for 2015 Champion Older Male.
