Taylor Made Sales is the consignor of Hip 88, the second foal out of the winning Outwork mare Qui. Qui is a half-sister to stakes winner and multiple graded stakes placed Audrey’s Time and Grade 1-placed Silverpocketsfull, who are two of nine stakes performers named on the colt’s page.

One of the five stakes winners on the page is their multiple stakes winning dam Unforgotten, who is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Hot Storm.  Just like Unforgotten, Hot Storm is also a stakes producer with her runners A Shin Gorgeous and Hidinginplainsight both winning at least one stakes.

Hip 126 is consigned by Buckland Sales during the first session.

The colt is a half-brother to one winner from two to race out of a half-sister to the multiple graded stakes winner Shotgun Kowboy, multiple stakes winner Euro K Shotgun, and stakes placed Shotgun’s Night. Euro K Shotgun is also the dam of last year’s Grade 3-placed juvenile Here U Come Again with nine stakes winners and 11 other stakes performers listed under the colt’s third dam, led by Grade 1 winner Shotgun Gulch.

The Taylor Made Sales-consigned Hip 375 is the fourth out of the Speightstown mare Home Again, whose first two foals have won seven races between them.

A placed runner herself, Home Again is a daughter of Grade 1 winner and stakes producer Passing Shot. Passing Shot’s other foals include the Grade 3-placed Game Fair, with each of the three dams after Home Again producing at least one stakes performer and two of the four dams on the page won graded stakes themselves.

FIRST SAMURAI’s winning half-sister is the dam of Hip 692, a filly consigned by Mill Ridge Sales.

Diamond Fancy Free is the dam of four winners from eight to race with three of those winning two or more races. This filly’s stakes winning second dam isn’t just the dam of dual Grade 1 winner First Samurai but also to the dam of the graded stakes placed duo of Grade 2 third Enchantress and Grade 3 third Chun Tosaigh. Freddie Frisson is one of two stakes winners and four stakes performers out of her own dam with her sisters the dams or granddams of 11 stakes performers, led by Grade 2 winner O’Prado Again.

The second-to-last to come through the ring for SILVER STATE is Hip 1206, the Royal Oak Farm offered filly out of Pebble Road. The filly is the first foal out of four-time winner Pebble Road, who set a new course record at Colonial Downs in her final start when racing a mile on the turf.

Pebble Road is a half-sister to the Grade 2-placed Los Ojitos and the stakes placed duo of Warrior Johny and Lucky Girasol with Los Ojitos also the dam of two stakes winners. Each mare on the page with racing age foals has produced at least one stakes performer with those nine stakes performers including the yearling’s Grade 3-placed granddam.

Each session of the Keeneland January Sale starts at 10:00am ET with SILVER STATE having his yearlings sell every day but Wednesday. The stallion’s lone in-foal mare sells as Hip 205 on Monday.
