$450,000 WAR FRONT Yearling at Keeneland January

On the first day of the five-day Keeneland January Sale, a yearling colt by WAR FRONT went for $450,000, the highest priced yearling colt of the session. Hip 48, a May 6th foal out of the unraced Unbridled’s Song mare Exogenetic, was purchased by Gatewood Bell’s Cromwell Bloodstock. Bred by Jerre Paxton’s Northwest Farm, the colt was consigned by Bruce Gibbs’s Greenfield Farm as part of the dispersal of Northwest Farms.
