WAR FRONT’s AIR FORCE BLUE Dominates Newmarket’s G1 Dubai Dewhurst S.

AIR FORCE BLUE won his third consecutive G1 stakes taking the Dubai Dewhurst S. on the second day of the two-day Dubai Future Champions Festival held at Newmarket. The 2-year-old colt by WAR FRONT sat in midpack until the quarter pole where he quickly took command and ran away from the field winning by an emphatic 3 1/4 lengths. AIR FORCE BLUE was coming off a three-length win in the G1 Keeneland Phoenix S. and a two-length win in the G1 Goffs Vincent O’Brien National S., both at the Curragh. Bred by Stone Farm out of Chatham, by Maria’s Mon, he was a $490,000 purchase out of last year’s Keeneland September sale. The Aidan O’Brien trainee races for Mrs. Susan Magnier, Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith. AIR FORCE BLUE now has four wins in five starts, with his only loss coming in a runner-up performance in Royal Ascot’s Coventry S.-G2.
