$195,000 TRAPPE SHOT Filly at FT Midlantic Yearling Sale

At the one-day Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Fall Yearling Sale held in Timonium, Maryland, a filly from the first crop of GSW TRAPPE SHOT sold for $195,000, the second highest priced filly of the sale. Purchased by Marette Farrell, agent, hip 35 is out of the unraced Silver Deputy mare, Argentesque. The February 25th foal was bred by Mr. & Mrs. Charles McGinnes and consigned to the sale by the McGinnes’ Thornmar. TRAPPE SHOT also had a colt go for $85,000 to Champion Equine LLC. Hip 10, a January 16th foal out of the unraced Whywhywhy mare, Why Lucy Why, was consigned by CandyLand, agent. Overall for the sale, TRAPPE SHOT led all sires, two or more sold, with an average of $140,000 and a median of $140,000.
