WAR FRONT’s Random Harvest Wins Second Career G3

It was a second career Group 3 victory for WAR FRONT’s Random Harvest in England on Saturday with a victory in the Valiant Stakes (G3) at Ascot.

Keen to get the job started, Random Harvest went straight to the front under Saffie Osborne to take up pacemaking duties. She kept that spot throughout the one-mile race on good to soft turf with Osborne not having to ask for much until the final furlong.

It was inside that furlong that another runner cut into her lead, but Random Harvest was able to keep her neck in front at the line for her fourth career win and 12th top three finish in 18 starts.

A homebred for Lady Bamford, Random Harvest is trained by Ed Walker and has five stakes placings in in nine stakes attempts.

Random Harvest is out of the multiple stakes winning Seta, who is one of five stakes winners and six stakes performers out of her stakes placed dam Bombazine. Seta is also the dam of the stakes placed One Evening and has five winners from six to race overall.

Random Harvest is the sixth stakes winner of the year for WAR FRONT and one of 15 stakes performers for the stallion this season as well.
