The latest update came when Dubawi (Ire) son New Bay sired both Champion Stakes (G1) winner Bay Bridge and Queen Elizabeth II (G1) Bayside Boy on the British Champions Day card last Saturday. That followed Dubawi’s (Ire) own Grade 1 winner the week before when In Italian (GB) won the First Lady (G1) at Keeneland. In Canada only a few weeks before In Italian’s (GB) win, Dubawi’s (Ire) Modern Games (Ire) won yet another Grade 1 with a 5 ¼ length win in the Woodbine Mile (G1) – his third Grade/Group 1 win and second of the year.

DEMARCHELIER’s (GB) female family has also had recent updates in the past month, including an 11th Group 1 winner. Alpinista (GB) won yet another Group 1 in the Prix d’la Arc de Trimophe (G1) in early October just a few weeks after Eldar Eldarov (GB) became the newest classic winner in the family with a victory in the St Leger (G1). Read more about his female family here.

DEMARCHELIER’s (GB) first hip through the ring is Hip 169 from Timber Town’s consignment. The April-born colt is a half-brother to multiple stakes placed Circle Back Jack from his dam’s first runner. The grandson of Grade 2-placed Ash Zee is also from the family of Grade 1 winner Wickedly Perfect and Grade 3 winners Ambitious Brew, Bees and Honey, and Sailors Sunset.

Warrendale Sales sends Hip 1051 through the ring during the third session of the sale. That colt is out of the stakes placed Into Reality, who has already produced stakes winner Meadowood among her six winners from eight to race. Into Reality is just one of six stakes winners on the page with each of his first three dams producing stakes winners.

Just a few hips later, Buckland Sales takes Hip 1056 through the ring. That filly is a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Irish Jasper among her seven winners from eight to race. Their two-time winner Irish Connection is a half-sister to multiple stakes performer Dicey Girl, who also produced Grade 3 placed Safe to Say, and the stakes placed Gallows.

An active family, the filly’s page also includes 2020 Sovereign Champion Female Sprinter Artie’s Princess, Grade 3 winner Beach Dance, and Grade 1-placed Square Dance, among others.

One of the final DEMARCHELIER (GB) yearlings through the ring is Hip 1086 from Garrencasey Sales.

A half-brother to 2022 juvenile stakes third Pure Fire, he is out of a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Siphonic. His dam Juliette Ava is also a half-sister to Rose of Summer, who produced Grade 1 winner Laragh and WAR FRONT’s multiple graded stakes winner Summer Front.

The Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October Yearlings Sale runs from October 24 to 27 with each session starting at 10:00a.m. You can see all of DEMARCHELIER’s (GB) offerings here.
