First in the ring for the dual-surface Grade 1 winner is Hip 125 from Vinery Sales. That filly is the first foal out of Grade 3-placed Space Talk. Coming from a strong international family, the filly’s page includes German Grade 1 winner Buzzword, Japanese Grade 2 winner Ambitious, Grade 1 winner Lush Lashes and many more.

From the family of the great Yell is Hip 189 from Hunter Valley Farm. That colt is out of the stakes-placed Support, who herself is out of a half-sister to Grade 2 winner and multiple Grade 1-placed Congrats and our own late Grade 2-placed sire FLATTER. Descending from Wild Applause, the colt’s page also includes multiple Grade 1 winner Elate, Grade 2 winner Tax, and successful stakes-placed broodmare Meghan’s Joy.

From the family of multiple Grade 1 winner Spain comes Hip 269 from Paramount Sales. His Giant’s Causeway dam is a full sister to Grade 3 winner Excited, who produced stakes winner and multiple graded stakes-placed Thrilled, and stakes winner Wait Til Dawn. Thunder Rose’s half-sister Path of Dreams also produced Group 2-placed Cravache d’Oro. Spain and four other stakes performers were produced by Drina with the colt’s own second dam a stakes winning full sister to Spain.

Out of a Giant’s Causeway mare, this colt is bred on the same More Than Ready x Giant’s Causeway cross as Grade 1 winners Verrazano and Say The Word among others.

One of the most anticipated offerings of this sale is a CATHOLIC BOY filly out of top broodmare Glittering Tax. Offered as Hip 935 from Buckland Sales, the filly is a half-sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Miss Temple City, Grade 3 winner Pricedtoperfection, stakes winner Miss Mosaic and stakes placed Paganol among her seven winners. A stakes performer herself, Glittering Tax is also a half-sister to stakes winner Conway Two Step, who produced Grade 3 winner Naughty Gal.

Offered as Hip 1060 from Claiborne, this CATHOLIC BOY filly is a half-sister to stakes winner Area, stakes placed Bell’s Shoes, and stakes placed Amazing Shoes. Bell’s Shoes and one other of the filly’s half-sisters also produced stakes performers. This filly’s stakes winning dam Isabell’s Shoes is one of three stakes winners out of her own stakes winning dam with Prom Shoes and Wildcat Shoes both taking those honors. This filly’s third dam is Fun Flight, whose descendants include Grade 1 winners Zensational, Global Campaign, and Bolt d’Oro.

Hip 1419 is the first foal out of the stakes winning Parade Of Roses, who is a half-sister to Champion 2-Year-Old Filly British Idiom.

Bred by KatieRich Farms, the sees each of his first five dams either producing a stakes winner or being a stakes winner themselves. In addition to British Idiom, his dam is also a half-sister to the stakes winning Royal Prince from the five to race out of her dam. The extended family also includes WAR FRONT’s Grade 1 winning Peace And War.

Catholic Boy’s final through the ring is a three-quarter brother to the stakes placed On The Town. Offered as Hip 1505 by Lane’s End, the colt is out of a winning half-sister to Grade 2 winner Warning Zzone and to the dams of stakes winners Reik and Icatiro.

Under this colt’s third dams are champions We Can See, Weekend Trip, and Wapi.
