A half-brother to Claiborne stallion ALGORITHMS, the 5-year-old stalked the pace, then ran down his competition to win by three-quarters of length going the six furlongs in 1:09.63. Trained by Steve Asmussen and ridden by Richardo Santana Jr., JUSTIN PHILLIP has won or placed in 17 races. He previously won the Woody Stephens S.-G2 at Belmont Park and was runner-up in the King’s Bishop-G1 at Saratoga.
