Juvenile Somebody’s Problem Impresses For RUNHAPPY

It’s another top-class crop of juveniles for RUNHAPPY in 2022 and his newest winner Somebody’s Problem made her own mark on the group with a 6 ¾ length Maiden Special Weight victory at Ellis Park on Sunday.

The Hoolie Racing Stable homebred broke out of the gate like a shot to take command of the lead in the six furlong race and no one else had a chance. She built her lead at every call and stepped up her game even more in the final furlong to build an extra 4 ¼ lengths on the margin she’d had with a furlong left to run.

Trained by Greg Foley, Somebody’s Problem has now finished first and third in her two races.

She is out of the three-time stakes winning BLAME mare Firsthand Report, who herself is out of the stakes-placed Kinsey. The family also includes Grade 3 winner and Grade I-placed Rothko, and Grade 3 winners Electrify and Kazoo.

Firsthand Report returned to the Claiborne breeding shed this year to visit our first-season stallion SILVER STATE.
