$400,000 TRAPPE SHOT Colt at Saratoga

On the first night of the two-night Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select Sale, a yearling colt from the first crop of TRAPPE SHOT went for $400,000. Hip 47, an April 6 foal out of the ARCH mare, Mayhavebeentheone, was consigned by Nursery Place and purchased by Matthew Schera.TRAPPE SHOT was also represented by a $170,000 colt that was purchased by Gary S. Broad. Hip 37, a March 25 foal out of the El Prado (Ire) mare, La Prada, was consigned by Bluewater Sales, agent.
