3YO SKYLANDER GIRL Runner-up in $250,000 Wonder Where S.

Multiple stakes winner SKYLANDER GIRL stretched out to 1 1/4 miles on the turf and finished runner-up in $250,000 Wonder Where S. at Woodbine. The 3-year-old filly by STROLL set the pace for most of the race after turning back a challenger on the backstretch, held the lead until the eighth pole and finished 6 1/2 lengths in front of the third-place horse. The winner of the race is a $1.3 million earner that was coming off a victory against males in the $1 million Queen’s Plate S. Last year at two, SKYLANDER GIRL won the My Dear S and the Ontario Debutante S., both on the all-weather surface at Woodbine.
