A multiple stakes winner as a juvenile last year, SKYLANDER GIRL battled to the wire to finish runner-up, only a 1/2-length back of the win in the $150,000 Ontario Damsel S. at Woodbine. Racing a mile on the turf, the 3-year-old filly by STROLL forced the pace early, took over the lead with a little more than two furlongs to go and fought battled to the line. Last year, SKYLANDER GIRL broke her maiden winning the My Dear S. by three lengths and won the Ontario Debutante S. by 2 1/2 lengths. She now has earnings of $280,875.
