Making only her second start, LINDY gave WAR FRONT a new 2014 stakes horse with her placing in Belmont’s $100,000 Astoria S. The 2-year-old filly was coming off an impressive wire-to-wire debut win by 4 1/2 lengths in a Maiden Special Weight test. Bred in Kentucky by Bret C. Jones out of the Proud Citizen mare, Dattts Lady Di, LINDY races for the Hat Creek Racing Partnership of trainer Wesley Ward, Kent Spellman, Bret Jones, and Wes Welker.
