In the first session of the two-day Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale in Timonium, Maryland, a filly by FLATTER sold for $255,000, the second highest priced filly of the session. Hip 270, out of Jim’s Prospect, by St Averil, was consigned by Kirkwood Stables, agent, and purchased by Quest Realty. The filly worked a swift :21 4/5, the second fastest time for a 1/4 mile at that day’s under tack show.
