One the first day of the four-day Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s April Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training, a filly by FLATTER was purchased for $250,000 by John Fort, agent for Gainesway Farm. The February 5th foal was bred in Kentucky by Eico Stable and was the second highest priced filly of the session. Hip 161, out of Hurricane Hannah, by Southern Halo, and consigned by Eisaman Equine, agent, worked a blustering :09 4/5 at the under tack show, the fastest time for a furlong.
