Second Victory for MASTERY’s Hazy Command

MASTERY daughter Hazy Command added another 2022 win to her record on Wednesday with an Allowance victory at Horseshoe Indianapolis.

The six furlong dirt race saw the 3-year-old Tom Amoss trainee race just a length behind the leader a few paths off the rail in third and then second. It looked like she had her work cut out for her as they rounded into the stretch with the filly leader gaining more ground but Hazy Command wasn’t done yet.

The filly steadily cut down the lead down the center of the track in the final furlong and got her nose in front at the line with the rest of the field watching the show from five lengths back.

It was the Late Night Stables’ representative’s fifth top three finish in six starts this year with the MASTERY filly the earner of $138,575 in nine starts.

Bred by Belvedere Farm, Hazy Command is a half-sister to multiple stakes winners Justalittlesmoke and Portales from her dam’s five other winners.
